Look Around Outer Banks Directions
Booth House

Your innkeepers, Noelle and John Booth, welcome you to their home and inn. Your stay will be a refuge from the crowded beaches while still enjoying a view of the the Roanoke Sound.

The Booth House and surrounding area is frequently requested for weddings large and small. The breezes from the sound and pleasant weather serve as a romantic setting for most of the year.

Manteo, North Carolina is located on historical Roanoke Island, just west of the ocean beaches. There are plenty of things to see and do - perfect for the first day adventuring on the Outer Banks.

Manteo began as a Britsh Colony in 1585, the oldest site for British settlement in the US. The hearty souls that braved the new world mysteriously disappeared sometime after 1587. Their memory is preserved at Historic Fort Raleigh National Park, just north of The Booth House. Nightly during the summer, the longest running outdoor theater, "The Lost Colony" is featured at the amphitheater there.

You may also choose to visit the North Carolina Aquarium at Roanoke Island. This facility was established in 1976 to promote an understanding and appreciation of the diverse natural and cultural resources associated with the area's ocean, estuaries, rivers, and streams.

Dowtown Manteo offers an out-of-the-way shopping area with unique shops that are sure to please.

You are invited to browse through this web site and explore all the Booth House has to offer you. More information will be provided soon, so feel free to call for details or reservations.
